About BSPSMS Trust
Brahma Tantra Parakala Swamy Mutt Seva Trust was established at Bangalore, Karnataka, India in 2013 under the niyamanam of the revered Acharya, HH Srimad Abhinava Vageesha Brahmatantra Swatantra Mahadesikan of Parakala Mutt*, Mysore. It was registered as a Public Trust in the State of Karnataka in 2013. It was subsequently registered in 2014 as a non-profit RelgiousTrust under Section 12 A of the Indian Income Tax Act of 1961. The Trust is now also registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India under the Foreign Contributions Regulations act of 2010 and is eligible to receive foreign contributions from individuals and organizations.
Mission & Goals
The Mission of BSPSMS Trust is to preserve and assist ancient institutions like Mutts, Ashram and places of worship to continue their centuries- old role of providing spiritual guidance/fulfillment to millions of their devotees and disciples.
Towards the fulfillment of its above stated Mission, the Trust has set the following as its Immediate Goals.
- To construct, renovate and maintain the religious buildings like Mutts, Ashrams, places of worship and community service.
- To fund the maintenance and operation of religious institutions and places of worship, as needed.
- To fund the conduct of regular and special religious functions at such institutions
- To support the community outreach activities such as construction and running of educational institutions, hospitals,orphanages, old-age homes, etc and other humanitarian services such as annadanam, community marriages/upanayanams/shraddha services
The above is a brief list of the objectives of the Trust. For an expanded description of the objectives, please refer to the Registered Trust Deed. All the objects of this Trust and its activities will be confined to India and will be carried out without profit motive and without any distinction on account of caste, creed, color, religion or sex.
To achieve the above stated objectives, the Trust seeks to raise funds through solicitation of donations/grants/endowments from individuals and organizations in India and abroad.

Contributions to PLM, USA are eligible for US income tax exemption as per applicable IRS rules.
